General FAQ

Our main laboratory is located at 1912 Rt. 35 S, Oakhurst, NJ 07755. Suite 102 (office) Suite 203 (laboratory).

We also have a designated COVID-19 testing location which is located at 3205 Fire Rd # B, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.

Patients can have PCR COVID-19 tests performed directly at either location listed above, as well as a variety of bloodwork, including COVID antibody testing.

This answer varies depending on which test you are referring to. When it comes to COVID-19/other respiratory testing results, as long as you provide a valid email address and/or cell phone number when filling out your paperwork, you will receive a total of two text messages/emails guiding you through this process. The first message will inform you the test is in progress and provide you with a “token number” (which is essentially a unique password used to access the results), and the second message will inform you that the results have been finalized, and provide you with a website link to view them using your “token number” and date of birth as a security feature.

When it comes to any other test results, these results will need to be discussed with the ordering medical provider.

If you are tested directly at one of the two Genesis Laboratory locations, our staff can verbally confirm your results with you. If you are tested at any other location, our staff cannot do so. 

We would be happy to assist you through the process of getting your results online, or as an alternative, the ordering provider/physician can provide the results to you verbally instead.

On our website homepage, there is a link on the top right that says “Pre-registration for COVID-19 testing”. Click this link and fill out the information requested (required fields have an asterisk). If the patient is a minor and has no identification, a parent’s ID is fine to use for the ID image requested). Patients do have to pre-register each time they are tested, even if they have been tested here before.

Billing FAQ

If you are paying by credit card for the patient responsibility amount relating to a laboratory test, please click this link. If you are paying by check, please send the check along with a copy of your statement to Genesis Laboratory Management, LLC at 1912 Rt. 35 South, Suite 203, Oakhurst, NJ 07755. If you have any questions regarding your bill, please call (732) 389-8400.

You are at all times required to promptly remit any insurance payments intended for Genesis, which may have been sent to you by an insurance carrier. If you have any questions about the process of transmitting the check to Genesis, please call us at (732) 389-8400.
