The Genesis Labs Difference
History
Physician-founded in 2009 as a gastrointestinal pathology-focused laboratory, today, we deliver full-scale clinical diagnostic services with qualified precision for healthcare providers, facilities, and patients throughout the U.S., accepting specimens from all 50 states.
We serve 2,000+ physician specialists that rely heavily on comprehensive diagnostic and pathology expertise and services in their field. Our high client retention rates can be attributed to our adaptability and solution-driven results
In addition, our laboratory services provide patients with 24/7 customer support, a large network of insurance providers, and a secure portal for test results (COVID-19). This gives patients a roadmap to help them make timely and accurate decisions about their health and well-being.
Meet The Team
Pathologists
With over 20 dedicated pathologists, our team is known across the country as leaders in their field. They are board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologists with subspecialties in Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, GI Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Hematopathology, Surgical Pathology, Podiatry, and Urological Pathology.
Each of our pathologists offers expert opinions in their respective fields of practice, accurate and highly professional diagnostic services, second opinions, and timely results. In addition, they provide consultation services and callbacks for significant or unusual findings and attend scheduled pathology conferences upon request.
Medical Couriers
We employ a fleet of medical couriers available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. to pick up specimens throughout New Jersey, as well as areas of New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. They are fully trained in specimen handling and maintain certification annually for the following:
- HIPAA ensures secure chain-of-custody procedures are followed, and patient confidentiality is protected.
- Biohazardous Waste for the proper disposal and cleanup of any spills should they occur.
- DOT for transporting diagnostic specimens.
